David has spent 30 years in Canadian financial services asking a question most advisors avoid: why don’t accountants and wealth managers work together, when their clients clearly need them to? The answer he kept arriving at was structural. The incentives, the platforms, and the professional cultures were all designed to keep tax advice and financial advice in separate rooms. 

So he built a firm — WealthCo — that put them in the same room. Over 30 years, he turned that conviction into a fully integrated advisory practice, and then turned his attention to scaling the model through the Integrated Advisory Network: a platform that gives ambitious CPA firms a way to extend their client relationships into wealth, insurance, and planning — without taking on the regulatory burden, capital requirements, or operational complexity of building it themselves. 

David leads the strategic direction of the network alongside his role at WealthCo. His measure of success is straightforward: CPA firms that join should feel, within the first year, that integrated advisory is part of their identity — not an add-on.
